Begin with the cloth, then define every visible detail: lapel size and shape, surgeon cuffs, lining, buttons and thread. The result is a garment cut to your posture and proportions, not to a standard size chart.
Every garment is made in Hamilton, Ontario, where Coppley pairs traditional hand tailoring with precise, computer-assisted cutting. Choose from more than 400 fabrics from renowned mills such as Loro Piana, Reda and Barberis.

How a fitting actually runs.

Consultation
We discuss the occasion, your timeline and your existing wardrobe. Approximately one hour, complimentary and without obligation.

Cloth & specification
Together we select the fabric and finalize every detail: lapel, cuff, lining and buttons.

Measurement
Measurements are taken by hand and recorded with care, as they always have been.

Fitting & finishing
When the garment arrives, we fit it on you and complete any adjustments in our own tailor shop.
Made-to-measure garments require a production lead time. If your garment is needed for a specific date, please let us know at your first visit and we will plan accordingly.
